RM Affiliated Technicians Support
Primary Technologies recognise that having a close partnership with RM has some significant advantages. The Affiliated Technicians Support Scheme has been designed to form a partnership with independent technicians to offer the best possible support.
Being supported by Primary Technologies will enable you to benefit from:
- Savings of over £500 on your network support contract*
- Being able to log calls directly with the RM helpdesk
- Both an on-site RM Certified Network Technician and the RM helpdesk support escalations
- A more effective relationship between you and your technician
* Only available to schools supported by technicians that are fully affiliated. A contract must be held for each product requiring support. Only the standard network support contracts are eligible for discounts.
Managed Service
We specialise in supporting ICT in both primary and secondary schools in Kent.
We already provide a managed service in many schools in Kent.
Educational establishments have a wide range of systems. Most of our managed service contracts/on call rota are under recommendation.
We can support any Microsoft system but here are some of the systems that most schools use:
- RM Community Connect 4
- RM Community Connect 3
- RM Windowbox XP
- Ranger Networks (Ranger for primary schools)
- Viglen Networks
- Windows Server 2000/2003 Microsoft Windows® 98/2000 and Windows® XP / Vista
We also provide:
- Wired and wireless networking (subject to survey)
- Advice and installation of interactive white boards and projectors in classrooms and school hall
- Advice and installation of speakers and audio for PC / DVD
- Setup and configuration of broadband, switches and routers
- Network design and installation of Cat 5e cabling
- Email setup - RM Easymail / Microsoft Exchange account setup
- School website set-up and maintenance
